There is standing water in my crawl space after every big rain. Should I call?
Almost always, yes — and it is worth more than the water you can see. A crawl space holding water after a Dunwoody storm usually means groundwater is entering faster than the clay lets it leave. Left alone it rots joists, grows mold that vents into the living space, and invites termites. A pump-out, drying and a look at grading and drainage solves the cause, not just the puddle.
